Mobilizing Data as a Tool for Ending Homelessness: For Program Managers
Time limit: 180 days
Full course description
This course is intended for managers and directors of programs that provide services to those experiencing homelessness.
Our understanding of homelessness is only as complete as the data we have. Your organization helps create the knowledge that informs local and national decisions about how to address homelessness.
You also have the opportunity to deploy data in your own decision-making, to ensure that your decisions are strategically targeted to the most important problems in your community.
This course presents strategies for making the most of these opportunities. We'll discuss:
- Aligning your data practices with key goals
- Using reports to sharpen your understanding of homelessness locally and nationally
- Conducting an impact analysis
- Centering race equity in your use of data
- Promoting data quality within your organization
- Creating a culture that values and uses data
This course is self-paced and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.
